The Raisin Township Offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024 in recognition of Veterans Day. This is a day to give thanks and to honor all of our Veterans who have served our great nation.

There will be a Trunk or Treat event at the Township Fire Department at the corner of Gady and Occidental Hwy.

Come on out and enjoy some Candy, Donuts and Cider - Hay Ride - Pumpkin Painting - Bounce House - Spooky Game Room, Local Vendors & More!!

Raisin Township Residents may bring bags, paper bags only, filled with leaves, grass clippings, small twigs, etc. to the Township Hall for disposal. Everything must fit into a PAPER Yard Waste Bag. Stop at the Township Office and pay $2 per bag. This is a great option for those in subdivisions in place of burning. This is Mon-Fri from 8 am until 4 pm. You can pay ahead of time for dumping on the weekend.

The Raisin Township Board of Trustees, along with the Planning Commission, the Park Committee and Region 2 are seeking public input for the Township's Park Plan for our Parks and Recreation, to serve Raisin Township for the next 5 years.

Please send your thoughts and ideas by email to: [email protected]. There will be a public hearing once a draft proposal is put together. That notice will be posted and published.

You are also welcome to join the Park Committee, October 15th at 6:30 pm, at the Raisin Community Center, to share your thoughts there as well.
