The City of Tecumseh is seeking a skilled professional to lead its Developmental Services Department as Building Official and Zoning Administrator. This pivotal role manages building inspection, code enforcement, zoning administration, and land-use planning activities, ensuring compliance with Michigan Building Codes and City ordinances. You’ll collaborate with contractors, homeowners, and city officials to facilitate development projects and maintain high standards of public health and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical competence in construction, code enforcement, and zoning. Registration (or ability to obtain) as Building Official, Plan Reviewer, and Building Inspector in Michigan.
