Town of Tazewell Welcome to the Town of Tazewell, Virginia The Town Of Tazewell was first settled in 1799, and was incorporated in 1870.

It was first called Jeffersonville Township, the Tazewell Courthouse and finally, Tazewell. The Town serves as the County seat of Tazewell County and is one of the most historic areas in the County. The original character of the community has been preserved with its tree-lined streets and well-groomed Victorian houses.

This special weekend of events in Town of Tazewell will feature music, fellowship, worship, cultural activities, and the showing of “A Silent Fire,” a documentary featuring Macie Alford of Tazewell.

Main Street Stage, Tazewell VA – 11 AM
🎶 Inspirational music, cultural activities, and guest speaker Dr. Darrin Martin, President of Bluefield State University
A parade and fellowship gathering will follow

📍 Sunday, June 21
Nuckolls Hall – 11 AM
⛪ Worship service with Rev. Todd French followed by Sunday dinner

All are welcome as we celebrate community, culture, faith, and freedom together. ✨

Stop by and meet your local heroes, learn more about the department, and take advantage of FREE Child ID Services — including photos and fingerprints to help keep our kids safe. ❤️

We’re also bringing some extra fun with everyone’s favorite pups from Paw Patrol joining the excitement! 🐾
