We had a great time at our 4-H Poultry Show yesterday! Our 4-H’ers did an outstanding job showing their birds and putting their poultry knowledge and skills to work.

We are so proud of all of our 4-H’ers who participated and the hard work they put into raising and preparing their birds for the show.

A special thank you to Jim Bell for judging our show and to Tad Russell for auctioning off our birds.

We also want to thank everyone who came out to support our 4-H’ers and purchased birds during the auction. The profits from the auction go toward purchasing next year’s chickens for our 4-H Poultry Project, helping us continue to provide this opportunity for our youth year after year.

Thank you to everyone who supports our 4-H program and invests in our kids. We truly appreciate you!

Grill Masters!

We are so proud of our 9 Claiborne County 4-H members who competed in the Grill Masters contest! These 4-H’ers have worked hard preparing and practicing, and they did an amazing job representing our county.

A special congratulations to our four Grill Masters who placed in the Top 10 in their divisions:

Hannah Payne – Claiborne High School – 6th Place, Senior High Lamb
Kaylee Luckadoo – 6th Place, Junior High Beef
Autumn Renfro – 6th Place, Junior High Poultry
Zachary Hall – 6th Place, Junior High Lamb

We are proud of all nine of our Grill Masters! Beyond the scores and placings, they showed great teamwork, positive attitudes, and determination throughout the contest. It has been wonderful watching their skills and confidence grow!
