If you receive a call from someone stating they are a law enforcement officer and stating that you need to immediately pay a fine because you missed jury duty - it is a scam. We will not call you and ask for money or credit cards on the phone. Several people have had calls from people stating they are an officer and that arrest warrants will be issued if the person does not immediately pay a fine. PLEASE - Before you ever give out your financial or personal information, tell the caller you are going to call your local law enforcement office to verify who they are, then hang up the phone.
