Tazewell County Citizens,
I am sharing a post that David Larimer, Tazewell County Treasurer posted last week.
David Stated in a Reminder on his site:
The 2020 Tazewell County Personal Property and Real Estate tax tickets were mailed in mid-October, and are due by Monday, December 7, 2020 to avoid a late penalty. All payments with a December 7, 2020 postmark will be honored as an on-time payment.
If you did not receive your county tax ticket, please call our office at 276-385-1300.
All county taxes can be paid: in person at the Treasurer's office, by phone, online at www.tazewellcountyva.org, at a local bank, the new drop boxes at the courthouse entrances, or by mail.
We look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of Tazewell County.
David Larimer, Tazewell County Treasurer

If my office can assist any citizens, please give us a call. 276-385-1235, 276-385-1233.

Citizens of Tazewell County,
The Tazewell County Commissioner of Revenues Office has been open all during this COVID 19 crisis. We adhered to the Courthouse and County rules, but our office has managed to serve our citizens and process the 2020 books. We have worn masks and helped every citizen in our foyer area. We moved a computer to the foyer area. I personally installed a remote lock on our door for employee access. This week a security window will be installed (we did not have plexiglass or security barriers like other courthouse offices). This window will protect Commissioner employees and enable us to service the citizens better. This was made possible by the CARES Act and the money was utilized to benefit our Citizens and protect our employees. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please contact me. David Anderson, Tazewell County Commissioner of Revenue, 276-385-1233.
