For the past several days, Lillian Wimmer has been participating in Leverage Leadership Training alongside SkillsUSA student state officers from across the nation at the National SkillsUSA Leadership & Skills Conference.

We are proud to announce that Lillian has been elected to serve in her new SkillsUSA Virginia State Officer position! Her official officer role will be revealed tonight during the Virginia Delegation Meeting as we welcome Virginia’s national competitors to Atlanta.

Please join us in congratulating Lillian on this outstanding achievement and wishing her continued success as she represents our school, our community, and SkillsUSA Virginia!

Our last and final “Above-and-Beyond” award recipient for the year is Nancy Mitchell. Nancy is an employee of Kimberly’s Greenhouse. She has been working at Kimberly’s Greenhouse for the past six years. She grew up with seven siblings and describes her childhood as “chaotic, but fun.” Growing up, her hero was her father, and she dreamed of becoming a truck driver. Today, Nancy proudly serves as a manager at Kimberly’s Greenhouse, where her passion for her work continues to motivate her each day. Outside of work, she enjoys motorcycles and of course, flowers. Congrats, Nancy! We applaud you for going “Above and Beyond” at Kimberly’s Greenhouse!🎉
