What a fun Tuesday evening! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our Utah State Auxiliary Summer Fun in the Park! It was wonderful seeing our law enforcement families come together for an evening of food, raffles, a foam pit, snow cones, cotton candy, face painting, and lots of smiles!

A special thank you to the Weber County FOP for cooking for our families and to everyone who helped make the evening possible.

We are so grateful for our FOP family and everyone who continues to support our Auxiliary and our law enforcement families. 💙🖤

July is Law Enforcement Child Month. 💙

Behind every badge is a family that serves too.

Law enforcement children grow up with sacrifices that many people never see. They celebrate birthdays with an empty chair at the table, miss holidays because duty calls, and learn at a young age that a parent’s promise to “be home soon” isn’t always guaranteed.

Yet they show incredible strength, resilience, compassion, and pride. They stand beside their parents through long shifts, sleepless nights, and uncertain moments, quietly carrying the weight of a profession dedicated to protecting others.

This month, we honor these remarkable children…. the heroes behind the heroes. Thank you for your courage, your patience, and the love and support you give every day. Your sacrifices matter, your stories matter, and you are an important part of the law enforcement family.

To every law enforcement child: We see you. We appreciate you. And we celebrate you.

Today, we celebrate the birth of a nation founded on liberty, courage, and the enduring promise of freedom.

As communities across America gather with family and friends, we also recognize the dedicated law enforcement officers, first responders, military members, and public safety professionals who stand watch to help keep our neighborhoods safe.

The National Fraternal Order of Police wishes everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. May we never take for granted the freedoms we enjoy and the sacrifices made to protect them.

On this Memorial Day, we remember the brave military members and law enforcement officers who gave their lives in service to others. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment will never be forgotten. We also hold close the families who carry their memory every single day.

May we never take their sacrifice for granted.

It’s the start of National Police Week 2026.

This year, four West Valley officers are riding in the Police Unity Tour in honor of Officer Cody Brotherson, Nathan Lyday, Sgt. Sorenson, and Officer Estrada carrying their memories with them every mile to Washington, D.C.

This year also marks 10 years since Officer Cody Brotherson was taken too soon.

They ride. They remember. They honor. Thank you guys!
