The Town of Taylorsville will proudly celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a special patriotic installation titled “Stars Across Taylorsville” featuring “50 Stars & Stripes,” a community tribute honoring the history, unity, freedom, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the United States of America.
Beginning Memorial Day Weekend and continuing through Labor Day, Depot Park in Taylorsville will display 50 American flags representing the fifty states in celebration of the nation’s 250 years of independence and heritage. The display is designed to serve as both a place of reflection and a symbol of community pride as citizens and visitors gather to honor America’s past, present, and future. This patriotic installation is intended to bring the community together in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary while honoring the values and sacrifices that have shaped the nation.
The centerpiece installation, “50 Stars & Stripes,” will transform Depot Park into a patriotic landmark throughout the summer months, offering residents and travelers an opportunity to experience a visual tribute to the American spirit. The project is part of the nationwide America 250 commemoration recognizing the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. See less
