Today’s EMS Week focus is EMS Education. Behind every lifesaving response are hours of training and dedication; EMS professionals never stop learning to ensure they deliver the best care possible. Today, we recognize the vital role ongoing education plays in keeping our communities safe.

There has never been a greater need for compassionate caregivers and strong leaders. If you are interested in becoming an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic, we invite you to join this essential profession.

Education is one of the most powerful tools in emergency medicine. From community outreach like CPR and first aid training to the advanced continuing education that keeps provider skills sharp, knowledge saves lives long before an ambulance is called. Today, we specifically honor the educators, training officers, mentors, and preceptors who prepare the next generation. You don't just teach; you help save lives by shaping the confidence and critical thinking required for the moments that matter most.

Happy EMS Week to all the educators building the future of our profession.
