What an amazing year we have had! Lots to celebrate and lots of growth occurred.

I have truly enjoyed my time here at Taylorsville Elementary. I know you are in good hands with Mr. Broderick coming in for the 22-23 school year. I have been transferred to Monroe Elementary and will always be available to help you or your children. Feel free to reach out whenever.

Our very own Emma James was selected for the Asper Aspire Award. Janet Asper, a former teacher from Granger El, was inspired to help her community of students achieve lifetime goals. Upon retiring, Mrs. Asper set up this scholarship fund and would ask first grade teachers at Granger El to nominate students to receive this scholarship upon leaving elementary. Emma was nominated by her former first grade teacher at Granger El. Through her amazing hard work and dedication to being an amazing kid, she was selected as this year’s winner. Congrats, Emma! We know this is going to one amazing child!

Just recently, the Federal Communications Commission announced that 20 of the nation's internet providers have committed to lowering costs for low-income households. This step will essentially provide free high speed internet for those participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program. For Utah residents to get their share of the funding, families need to sign up for themselves. Please go to ACPBenefit.org to apply today, then select your preferred internet provider to have the discount applied to your bill.

We had SUCH a blast on our school wide field trip today. Parents, thank you for allowing me to have this opportunity to celebrate these awesome kids and the fabulous work they have accomplished! I couldn’t have been prouder of our students today! Thank you for this AWESOME ride these past 5 years! Taylorsville El will remain in my heart always!
