Patch Redesign Update

We want to thank everyone who has taken the time to share feedback and ideas on the Central Alexander Fire Department patch redesign. The response from our members and community has been tremendous, and we truly appreciate the thoughtful input.

As we’ve reviewed the comments and suggestions, we’ve worked to incorporate many of the themes and ideas that have been shared. Based on that feedback, we have developed a new Option 4 for consideration. This design incorporates the historic “Junebug” train, whose home base is in Taylorsville, as a way to better reflect our community’s unique history and heritage.

The addition of this option is a direct result of the feedback we’ve received throughout the process. Our goal remains to create a patch that honors our department’s proud tradition, represents the Town of Taylorsville and the Apple City community, and provides a modern look that firefighters can wear with pride for years to come.

We encourage everyone to continue reviewing the design options and sharing their thoughts. Your feedback is helping shape the final product, and we are committed to listening as we move forward.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in this important project.

We Need Your Input!

As part of our ongoing efforts to modernize our department’s image while honoring our history and service to the community, we are considering a new department patch design.

Our members are currently reviewing and voting on three proposed patch options, and we’d like to hear from you as well! Community support has always been an important part of who we are, and your feedback matters.

Take a look at the three designs and let us know in the comments:

🔹 Which patch do you like best?
🔹 What stands out to you about your favorite design?
🔹 Does it represent our department and community well?

While the final decision will be made by department members, public input will be considered as we work toward selecting a patch that best reflects our mission, traditions, and commitment to serving our community.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and for your continued support of our department!
