Felix Grundy Stidger Historic Preservation The Stidger Home is located downtown Taylorsville, Kentucky. The home was constructed in 1830 and lived in by a civil war spy named Felix Grundy Stidger.

We are currently trying to reconstruct the saddlebag log home with support from the community.

Home located at 102 Garrard St., Taylorsville, KY. Felix Grundy Stidger was born in this saddlebag log cabin on August 5th, 1836. Went on to become one of the top Spy's during the Civil War for the Union Forces.

This is the current state of the Felix Grundy Stidger home. Our vision is to completely restore this building, give tours, replace the 16'x24' dogleg for meetings, history classes and add an adjacent building to house a sales room, office, a storage room and mens and ladies room.
