This Friday, September 11, is an A day. To recognize that *most* Blazers have been following our dress code, students have the opportunity to dress down. In respectful remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue or a patriotic color scheme.

A dress down pass is $5. Cost for Seniors is $3. This is a regular dress-down day (not costume-themed ). Students must follow the dress-down guidelines found at the bottom of page 6 in the Student Handbook.

Hello Blazer Family!
Tomorrow is an A Friday and we are having our first dress down opportunity.
We ARE having a $5 dress down tomorrow, encouraging red, white and blue, patriotic color/scheme (not a costume type dress up!) in honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11 (and because MOST of our kids have been doing well with dress code!)
**Students should follow the dress-down dress code at the bottom of page 6 in their student handbook.
We’re approaching the halfway point of the first grading period, so grades are beginning to take shape. Students should be making sure they are staying on top of their work, attending office hours, working with their teachers, and retaking major assignments that score below mastery.
Parents, Please encourage your student to ask for help with school work as the need arises and not just after they receive a poor grade.
Our first dance is coming up so I want to take a moment to point out that when/if “dancing” becomes pushing, shoving, or rough-housing, those students will likely be asked to leave.
Finally, we have partnered with the Greenville area Imagination Library. We’re planning to do a book drive as a “payment” for another dress down day on Friday, 9/25! Be looking for more information as we get closer to that date.
