💥 5 school records were broken at the 5A Guys’ meet yesterday!

🔹Will Bridges broke the 100 back record from 2000 with a 50.58! 💪🏼 Go, Will!
🔹Cooper Hughes broke the 100 breast record from 2018 with a 59.22! Way to go! 💪🏼
🔹 The 200 Free Relay broke the record from 2022 with a 1:25.06. That’s Ben York, Quinn Osborn, Cooper Hughes, and Levi Smith! Way to go! 💪🏼 🚨 This is also a new SC State record!
🔹 The 200 Medley relay broke rhe record from 2024 with a 1:33.03. That’s Will Bridges, Cooper Hughes, Collin Brickner, and Quinn Osborn.
🔹 The 400 free relay broke the record from 2023 with a 3:11.97. Thats Levi Smith, Ben York, Reynolds Chilton, and Will Bridge. Way to go, guys!

When Tiffany Watson took over as head coach of Eastside swimming 13 years ago, the word “dynasty” was the farthest thing from her mind. After 19 state championships between her boys and girls teams in the last 11 years, however, there’s no other word to describe it.

A shout out to the Lady Eagles for bringing the cheers and spirit to the guys’ meet yesterday! 📣 From showing up early to decorate the bus, make spirit tunnels… to the final event- we had the best student section! And… to our alumni who came to support us — thank you! 🥰 They are all better together and had sweet celebrations afterwards! 🏆🥇

Congratulations to the 2025 5A-Div 2 State Champions — the Eastside men’s swim team! — their 11th consecutive State title!! 🏆🎉

This team broke the SC state record with the most points scored of 645!🔥

We also had THREE State Champion Events!

🔹Harper Church won the 200 Free! STATE CHAMPION! 🏆
🔹The 200 Free Relay WON 1st place with Ben York, Quinn Osborn, Cooper Hughes, and Levi Smith! 🏆 STATE CHAMPS! **also broke the SC record!
🔹The 400 Free Relay WON 1st with Levi Smith, Ben York, Reynolds Chilton, and Will Bridges! 🏆

🔹 Other All-State swimmers with podium appearances:
🥈Medley Relay won 2nd place with Will Bridges, Cooper Hughes, Collin Brickner, and Quinn Osborn! Way to go!
🥉Reynolds Chilton finished 3rd in 2IM!
🥈Levi Smith finished 2nd in 50 free!
🥉 Quinn Osborn finished 3rd in 50 free!
🥈Collin Brickner finished 2nd in 100 fly!
🥈 Will Bridges won 2nd in 100 free!
🥉 Levi Smith won 3rd in 100 free!
🥈Quinn Beason won 2nd in 500 free!
