Annual memberships and donations to the TCAF help to sustain the programs such as the annual high-school senior scholarship program, the community chorus, annual Crusin' for the Arts and other events and programs.

Bowling for Flowers event supports building the Eagle Scout Trail at the Conservatory in Taylor. Join Girls Night Out this Friday, April 5th from 7pm until 10pm at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park. This event is kid-friendly!

Taylor residents-The DIA free day for our city is today. Each resident can gain entry to the museum by showing your Taylor ID. You may bring up to 3 guests-guests do not have to live in Taylor. Visit the DIA and check out the originals of all the paintings displayed around our city.

DIA Inside|Out programming update:
Make the weekend of April 28th an Inside|Out weekend!

On Saturday, April 28th visit the Taylor installation where local community members will be acting as docents at each reproduced painting to tell you more about the works of art between 10 AM and 3 PM

Then on Sunday, April 29th go see the original works of art in their home locations at the DIA for free! Sunday, April 29 is the DIA's designated day for the Taylor Inside|Out Free Day. Show your valid, state-issued ID with a valid Taylor address for free admission to the DIA for up to four people. As an added bonus, Load One is sponsoring free, round-trip bus transportation from the William D. Ford Senior Center. Seats are limited. DIA Inside|Out: In conjunction with the Taylor Conservatory and the City of Taylor, Taylor Cultural Arts is pleased to be involved in local programming for the DIA's Inside|Out program. Sponsored by the Knight Foundation, the DIA has installed seven reproductions of DIA favorites from their permanent collection in locations around Heritage Park, at the Recreation Center and the William D. Ford Senior Center through the end of June.

Taylor Cultural Arts was formed on May 4, 2004 by the City of Taylor, Parks & Recreation Department. The purpose of our commission is to promote advancement of the arts in the City of Taylor.

Start the Holiday Season with the Taylor Community Chorus Annual Christmas Concert. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the William D. Ford Senior Center in Taylor.

The Taylor Community Chorus will perform the Cantata "Tapestry of Light" joined by the St. Paul Choir along with old holiday standards and favorites.

Tickets are $5.00 per person ages 10 and up.

Save the date, August 11th 2012, for our annual Cruisin' for the Arts Car Show. The show is open to all vehicles. We encourage family, friends and neighbors to attend as the show is held at Coan Lake in Heritage Park and includes entertainment, food vendors, a bouncy and more.

Join the Taylor Cultural Arts Foundation on Friday, November 11 at the Taylor Yoga Studio for Samantha Grobbel: Narratives -- A One-Woman Exhibition from 7:30 to 10 p.m. for the opening reception. On display will be recent and retrospective work of paintings, drawings and photography by Taylor artist, Samantha Grobbel--a Congressional Art Show and Leo Kuschel Emerging Artists award winner.

Taylor Community Chorus rehearsals for the fall 2011 season have started, but it's not too late to join. No auditions required (unless you don't know what voice you sing). Only $20 to join for fall. Great is lined up for the holiday concert. Rehearsals are at the William D. Ford Senior Center every Monday evening at 7 p.m.
