Our Bus Drivers are better than yours! Thank you for all you do! !

✨Today is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🚌

These amazing individuals drive approximately 540,000 miles a year on 44 routes, as well as field trips and sports trips, and are responsible for making sure that our students get to and from school safely, on time, and ready to learn every single day, along with our mechanics and bus monitors. Our transportation/maintenance staff are some of the first to come in, well before dawn, and some of the last to leave, well after dark.

So proud of our SLS students! What a great event!

About 300 seniors at Taylor High School watched a realistic distracted driving demonstration on Monday, complete with blaring sirens, a full-scale rescue, and a staged transfer to a hearse.
