We have the 2nd highest percentage of books read in the district! Keep up the great work panthers🐾🐾🐾!

Ladies and gentlemen, start reporting! Taylor School District has partnered with Kids Read Now to deliver new books to our elementary students this summer, preventing learning loss and fostering a love of reading outside of the classroom! It's now time report the books your child has finished in any of the four easy ways Kids Read Now provides!

Have you reported your first book yet? Remember, it counts if you read the book to your child as well!

Taylor Athletics is hosting a number of summer mini-camps for our students. Camps include girls and boys basketball, girls and boys soccer, cheer, football and more. All camps are FREE of charge.

You can apply for your child to attend Johnson Early Childhood Center on May 19, June 5, June 6 or June 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Johnson Early Childhood Center located at 20701 Wohlfeil, Taylor, MI 48180.

Children must be four-years-old before Dec. 1, 2023, in order to apply. No appointment is necessary. Please join our certified teachers for full days of learning with free breakfast and lunch.

Taylor School District recognizes this week as Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.

To celebrate, we are highlighting the staff at each of our wonderful schools. Next up is Eureka Heights Elementary School.

“Happy Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week (Luau style) to these amazing individuals,” says Eureka Heights Principal Stacie Hall. “They all work hard daily to create a safe, happy and kind learning environment for our Panthers!
