Taylor Mill is a Combination Department consisting of Volunteers, Part Time, and Full Time which work 24 Hour Shifts. Staff Perform Duties Such As:

Fire Prevention Inspections
Building Pre-Planning
Fire Hydrant Maintenence

MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose and objective of the Taylor Mill Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department shall be: To provide emergency response to fires, explosions, life squad service, hazardous material response at the operations level and other emergencies to the City of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and/or surrounding areas, and to provide other services for said territory as may be authorized by the Taylor Mill City Council; To promote Fire Prevention and Public Education, Safety Awareness, promote First Aid consciousness and goodwill in the community; To acquire and hold said purpose, money, real estate, or other property considered necessary or incidental to the accomplishment of such purpose; To accomplish these objectives with a combination of volunteers, career and part-time personnel.
