💰 Have you checked for unclaimed FKEC capital credits?
As a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative, FKEC allocates annual margins to members based on the electricity they use. These funds help support and improve the electric system before eventually being returned to members as capital credits.
Some current and former members still have capital credit refunds waiting to be claimed. Check our online database to see if you—or someone you know—is on the list.
⏰ Claims should be made within 60 days of Aug. 24, 2026.

🩸 From Bystander to Lifesaver: FKEC employees recently participated in Stop the Bleed training, learning lifesaving skills to help control serious bleeding in an emergency until professional help arrives.

Thank you to Lt. Cesar Moreton with Marathon Fire Rescue and Chief Terry Able with Islamorada Fire Rescue for sharing their expertise with our team. 🚒

Another way FKEC employees train to be ready when it matters—at work and in the community.
