What a great afternoon at Camping with a Cop!

Yesterday, families joined our Community Engagement Unit and many others for an afternoon of fun, including rock painting, archery, s'more making, a scavenger hunt, prizes, and more.

On June 10, 2026, at approximately 4:12 p.m., the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls for service regarding shooting in the area of Ellsy Street and Hollywood Avenue in the city of Eustis.

Deputies responded and were able to locate video footage of the incident occurring at approximately 4:00 p.m., The footage shows a blue Honda Accord occupied by an unidentified driver and passenger entering a residential neighborhood near Ellsy Street and Hollywood Avenue in Eustis.

The vehicle is seen traveling along both Hollywood Avenue and Ellsy Street. The unidentified passenger then opens the passenger door and fires multiple rounds from the moving vehicle near the intersection. The vehicle was last seen exiting the neighborhood along Ellsy Street.

‼️Missing/Runaway Juvenile: Shelby Ritter

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating 15-year-old Shelby Ritter (LCSO case #260061641). Shelby was last seen in the area of County Road 439 in Umatilla, leaving the residence on 06/07/2026, and has not returned home. Shelby was reported missing on 06/11/2026.

Shelby is described to be a 15-year-old white female, approximately 5'4" in height, and weighing 140lbs, with black hair and hazel eyes.

On the morning of June 9, 2026, Groveland Police Department detectives in collaboration with the Lake County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Bureau, executed a narcotics-related search warrant at residences located at 745 and 747 Blue Street in Groveland.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team assisted with the operation by making entry into the residences and securing the scene. Following the ex*****on of the warrant, detectives conducted a search of the properties and located trafficking quantities of co***ne, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun.
As a result of the investigation, Corey Pierre Solomon (DOB: 09/24/1986) was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Co***ne (Over 28 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The investigation was a collaborative effort involving detectives from the Groveland Police Department, Lake County Sheriff's Office, as well as law enforcement partners from the Clermont, Leesburg, and Eustis Police Departments.

On June 9, 2026, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau and the Groveland Police Department executed 2 narcotics search warrants at 745 and 747 Blue Street, Groveland. The location is a single-story duplex structure and during this investigation, detectives were able to determine that narcotics were being distributed from both apartments.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team was utilized to make entry and secure both apartments. As Lake County, Clermont, Eustis, Groveland Police Department, and Leesburg detectives searched both apartments, they located co***ne, crack co***ne, drug paraphernalia, and 1 firearm.

As a result of this investigation, Corey P. Solomon, was arrested and charged with trafficking in co***ne and possession of drug paraphernalia from 747 Blue Street. At this time, additional arrests from 745 Blue Street are pending further investigation.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance locating 15-year-old Mason J. Requeiro. Mason was last seen on June 9th, 2026, at approximately 10:30 pm at his residence in Sorrento.

Mason is a 15-year-old Hispanic male, 5'8", 130lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and black and white Nike sneakers.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance locating siblings, Audrey and Lucius Martin. They were last seen on June 8, 2026 at their residence in Eustis.

Audrey Martin is a 14 year old white female, described as 5’03” tall, 130 lbs, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Lucius Martin is a 13 year old white male, described as 5’04” tall, 120 lbs, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Lucius was last seen wearing an orange shirt and grey/tan shorts. Indications are the two ran away from home.
