Taunton Parks & Recreation is getting ready for a spooktacular Trunk-or-Treat, and we want YOU to be part of the fun! 🍬 🚗 🕷️

We're inviting local businesses, organizations, clubs, community groups, and families to decorate a vehicle or table, dress up, and hand out treats to the kids! 🎃 🍭

This is a great opportunity to connect with local families while helping us create a fun, safe, and memorable Halloween experience for Taunton's kids!

Here come the "BER" months - and the Annual Downtown Scarecrow Contest! All TAUNTON Schools & Businesses are invited to create a Scarecrow to be displayed downtown for the month of October. Register your Scarecrow by visiting Tauntonma.MyRec.com - if this is your first time visiting the site you'll need to create an account. If you are having trouble logging in, try resetting your password (please don't create a new account) - Questions? 🎢 ☀️ THE FINAL SUMMER FESTIVAL FIELD TRIP of 2026! ☀️ 🎢

What better way to wrap up an AMAZING summer than with a trip to Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire! 🎠 🎡

Our Summer Festival kids (staff & chaperones, too!) spent the day riding rides, laughing with friends, making memories, and having SO much fun! 😎 🎢 ❤️ From the biggest thrills to the biggest smiles, it was the perfect way to end an unforgettable summer together!

And just like that… Summer 2026 is in the books! ☀️ We had SO much fun with everyone and can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🎉

As everyone heads back to school, we hope they have an AMAZING school year filled with new adventures, new friends, and lots of success! 📕 ✏️ 🍎

Most of all, we hope Summer Festival will always be a happy part of their summer memories - the friendships, the laughter, the adventures, and all the fun they shared with us. ❤️

⭐️ 🌟 Summer Festival Talent Show 🌟 ⭐️

What a way to celebrate - Our Summer Festival Friends took the stage for an unforgettable End-of-Summer Talent Show! ☀️ 🎉

We had it ALL — 🎤 Singing, 💃 Dancing, 🎭 Skits, 😂 Jokes, 🃏 Card Tricks, 🥋 Karate, and so much more!

The confidence, creativity, and TALENT on that stage was incredible! 💫 We couldn’t be prouder of all our performers who stepped up, shared their talents, and entertained their friends and counselors in the audience!

So many laughs, smiles and BIG cheers! ❤️
