The Splash Pads at Hopewell Park & Weir Riverfront Park are officially on for the Season - daily from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

They are the perfect place for little ones to play, cool off, and enjoy some outdoor fun on warm days. Gather your friends, bring your sunscreen, and make a splash this summer!

A reminder that payment in full for Summer Festival is due by June 1st to avoid a late payment of $25. The fees generated from this program pay for the staff that has been hired as well as the weekly trips, buses, t-shirts, programs & all special events that have been planned. If your summer plans have changed, please reach out to the office to let us know - this will allow someone on the waiting list to be part of the summer fun. Partial payments can also be made at any time by logging in to your Tauntonma.MyRec.com account. We are looking forward to the summer!

Please note that Pride South Coast 2026 has officially moved locations.

Our new home for this year’s celebration is Weir River Waterfront Park in Taunton.

While the location has changed, the heart of Pride remains exactly the same. We are still bringing our community together for a powerful day of love, visibility, celebration, resources, entertainment, and pride.

Please help us spread the word so vendors, attendees, families, and supporters all know where to go.

Know a high school student interested in a future in law enforcement? The Massachusetts State Police offers a unique summer program for teens.

Ready to challenge yourself, build confidence, and get a firsthand look at a career in law enforcement? Applications are now open for the 2026 Student Trooper Program!

High school students ages 15–17 who are in good academic standing are encouraged to apply for this hands-on, immersive experience at the State Police Academy. Throughout the week, participants will develop leadership skills, learn about policing, and take part in structured training alongside State Troopers.

Join TRWA for this daylong celebration of community spirit - featuring live music, children’s activities, vendors, crafters, food, and educational exhibits!

The Taunton River Festival offers an enjoyable and accessible opportunity for people of all backgrounds and ages to come together in celebration of the Wild and Scenic Taunton River, encounter the arts, shop, eat, and learn more about our precious natural resources within the Watershed.

Mayflower Hill Cemetery
(Meet at the small building by the flagpole off the Broadway entrance)

St. Joseph Cemetery
(Meet at the green building in the center of the cemetery)

Maps, printouts, and prods will be furnished to assist flagging.

Invite your friends - kids from surrounding towns are welcome too! Program starts at 6:00 pm sharp and races are age appropriate. All participants receive a ribbon each week.
