Type in the Taunton Public Library and click join Plant a Seed, Read challenge. Starting July 1st enter minutes you read throughout the summer to earn amazing prizes. Register today!

The Taunton River Festival is going on now, today, Sunday, June 14, 2026 until 4 PM.

Stop by the Weir River Waterfront Park (East Water St.) and check out all of the cool activities, vendors, music, food, splash pad and more! 

Looking for parking? Park at 391 W. Water Street and take the shuttle over to the park!

Here's a reminder for you to check out these awesome events next week! We are so excited to meet Alison O'Leary and hear all about the fun, daytrip type adventures she will share. To make sure the next few months are spent learning, observing, and having fun, you'll want to see her presentation on all of the Microadventures Massachusetts has to offer!

Also, the new Adult Yoga dates are up. AND family yoga this summer?! Awesome!

PS: Emmy will be here this weekend, so be sure to book your spot to read with her at tauntonlibrary.org/events. Slots start at 1pm. Come to our Block Building Party from 10am - 11am, grab lunch in the lovely Downtown Taunton area, then come on back for your appointment with the sweetest reading dog around!

Emmy our therapy dog is visiting this Saturday!

Emmy loves to visit with all friends she meets at the library 💗
You can visit with Emmy for ten minutes. Within those ten minutes you can talk, pet her, share your day and if you feel comfortable she would love to listen to you read but if you prefer to just tell her a story then that's okay too.
