Summer may be here, but we don't stop working for the benefit of our amazing students.

We're planning the Summer 2028 EF Trip. After some discussion, poll taking and interesting gauging we've landed on an Adventure filled 9 day trip to Costa Rica. Students will have the chance to zipline through the rainforest canopy, go whitewater rafting, kayak near Arenal, hike to La Fortuna Waterfall, relax in hot springs, snorkel, explore national parks, and see wildlife by boat.

Trip dates TBD but i'm leaning toward the first week of July. In order to provide the most amount of time possible for students to pay for the trip I'm going to have a virtual launch meeting In June and an in person meeting in late August. This trip is organized through THS but is not sponsored by THS or TISD.

THS Graduation begins at 7:45 - Due to copyright laws we will start with audio muted until pomp and circumstance has finished playing.

In an effort to complete the graduation ceremony and have the stadium cleared in a timely manner ahead of what appears to be a significant period of severe weather, the ceremony start time will be moved from 8:00 PM to 7:45 PM.
Seniors should report to the Coliseum practice gym at 6:45 PM. Stadium gates will also open for guests at 6:45 PM.
We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and cooperation as we work to provide a safe and memorable evening for the Tatum High School Class of 2026.

TISD administrators are continuing to monitor the weather for this evening’s graduation ceremony. At this time, forecasts indicate there appears to be a break in the weather that should allow the ceremony to be held at Eagle Stadium as planned. However, we will complete one final weather evaluation at approximately 6:00 PM for any new developments. If changes are needed, we will post again at 6:00 PM. Whether the ceremony is held at the stadium or moved indoors, gates will open for guests at 7:00 PM.
Seniors: To prepare for both scenarios, we will meet in the Coliseum Practice gym at 7:00.
