Needlecrafters meet monthly at the library to knit, crochet, embroider, and quilt. Beginners are welcome. Come learn a new skill! This free program is open to adults and teens (ages 13-17) accompanied by an adult. No registration.

The library's Florida Native Plant Garden, funded by a grant from the Florida Wildflower Foundation, was expanded this week with new firebush plants. This month's featured museum partner is the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art on the St Petersburg College - Tarpon Springs campus. The museum houses more than 6,000 pieces of 20th and 21st century art. Enjoy the eight permanent galleries featuring the art of Abraham Rattner, Allen Leeper, and Esther Gentle, as well as special exhibitions rotating through year-round.
