East Lake High School Academy of Business Careers East Lake High School's Academy of Business Careers allows students to take courses in Business Supervision, Accounting, Web Design, and Digital Design.

The academy's course strands are multiple courses that prepare the student to take one or more certification tests offered by the industry and are recognized as mastery of the subject area. Industry certifications currently offered include Microsoft Office Specialist, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash and Quick Books. Future course offerings are being considered in Cyber Security and

Marketing. Students can take multiple certification exams in multiple areas while taking classes that provide skills necessary to compete in the rapidly changing career environment. Employers are faced with having jobs to fill, but not enough skilled workers to do so. These certifications can make the difference!
