Edgecombe Rescue - EMS

Edgecombe Rescue - EMS Edgecombe County Rescue Squad faithfully served the citizens of Edgecombe County from 1962 till 2021 providing EMS, rescue, medical transport.

They are the foundation on which a new generation of EMS service will be built upon. ECRS was headquartered in Tarboro, NC on Office Street. There are three outlying stations located near Pinetops, NC beside South Edgecombe Middle School, in Rocky Mount, NC on Meadowbrook Road, and near Whitakers, NC at "Gethsemane" (the intersection of Seven Bridges Road and Speight's Chapel Road). Edgecombe County now oversees EMS at these stations.
