There aren’t many flowers that grow from bulbs that are native to the US, but we do have a few! Camassia is probably the most famous native bulb you’ll see.

The landscape may be changing as the temperatures cool down, but did you know it's never too early to start thinking about spring planting?
The perfect time to plant your spring-blooming bulbs is when the ground temperature falls below 60 degrees and stays there. Too early, and your bulbs won't be able to establish roots. Too late, and your bulbs and their roots could freeze.
