Teagan Beck, a rising senior, was nominated to serve as the Student Liaison to the School Board. She is an outstanding scholar-leader who consistently demonstrates academic excellence, service, and leadership, and a genuine commitment to supporting her peers and the school community.

One of Teagan’s most impactful accomplishments thus far is the creation of a new mental health initiative at the high school, developed with a simple yet powerful goal to remind students that they are valued and supported. Teagan shared, “Even if it can help one student, I think it is worth it.”

The Student Liaison to the Board serves in an advisory capacity for a one-year term, from August through May, sharing pertinent information, concerns, and accomplishments from the Essex High School perspective. Congratulations, Teagan Beck!
