✂️⛳️Welcome Hole 24 Golf to Tappahannock!⛳️✂️

Yesterday, we celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Hole 24 Golf, located at 845 Church Lane, Suite B, Tappahannock, VA 22560.

Hole 24 Golf is a member-focused, 24-hour indoor golf facility designed for golfers of all skill levels. The facility features two state-of-the-art simulator bays and a large putting and chipping area, giving members the opportunity to practice and play year-round.

Membership benefits include:
🏌️ 24/7 access to a premier training facility
🌎 Play world-famous golf courses from around the globe
🎯 Practice with fun games designed to simulate on-course pressure
⛳ Unlimited putting and chipping access

Non-members can also enjoy limited hourly access to the simulator bays.

✂️🎉 Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Grand Opening of 528 Italian American Restaurant and the opening of its beautiful new outdoor patio, Sapore di Mare (“Taste of the Sea”)!

After taking over the restaurant and spending the past year transforming it with a new vision, menu, and atmosphere, owner Tony chose May 28 (5/28) as the perfect day to officially mark this exciting new chapter.

👉 Please have all trash curbside by 6:00 AM to avoid being missed.

If placing trash out tonight, remember:
• Use containers no larger than 33 gallons
• All containers must have secure lids

Beginning Monday, June 1st, trash pickup will start earlier for the summer season to help protect Town staff during the hottest part of the day.

📅 June 1 – August 28
🕕 Trash pickup begins at 6:00 AM

Please make sure all trash is placed curbside by 6:00 AM on your pickup day.

If placing trash out the night before, all trash must be in proper containers:
• Maximum 33-gallon residential cans
• Containers must have secure lids

Unfortunately, our internet service issue has not yet been resolved and service will not be restored today. As a result, the Town Office will be closing today, Friday, May 29th, at 11:00 AM.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this outage.

Please note:
• Payments can still be made using the secure drop box located at Town Hall.
• The deadline for Utility Bill payments has been extended to Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

Reminder from the Town of Tappahannock: All unpaid 2025 Personal Property Taxes will be turned over to the collection agency on Monday, June 1, 2026.

To avoid additional fees and collection actions, please make your payment before 4:30 PM on Friday, May 29th.
