On this day in 1927, the first Seminole Heights Branch Library opened its doors to the public! Located on the corner of Osborne and Central Avenue on the site formerly known as the City of Tampa's Memorial Park, it was one of the original seven libraries under the Tampa Public Library system before going through several relocations to where it currently stands today.
