North Tampa Branch Library

North Tampa Branch Library New and experienced crafters share knowledge, patterns, and tips and create items for charity or gifts. People 12 and up are welcome and all beginners.

We teach crochet, knitting, and loom knitting, free of charge. We craft hats, purses, preemie hats, lap blankets, and other items for charity using donated yarns. All donations of yarn are gladly accepted, especially worsted weight acrylics and fingering weight baby yarn. Partial skeins and incomplete projects are also welcome, for finishing or repurposing. The group meets every Thursday from 1:00

-3:00 pm in the computer lab of the North Tampa Branch Library, part of the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative. Crafters of all ability levels are welcome. We also enjoy cheering on one another's projects made from personal yarn, whether gifts or oneself.
