🎨 Project Return artists take the spotlight at the Orlando Science Center!

We’re proud to share that several of our talented members recently had their artwork featured in “Memories of Water,” an exhibition at the Orlando Science Center.

Adding another layer to the experience, the members’ artwork was displayed alongside augmented reality (AR) images by artist Austin Lubetkin, creating an engaging and unexpected connection between traditional artwork and digital technology.

It’s an incredible opportunity for our artists to have their work seen in a space like the Orlando Science Center and to be part of an exhibition that invites visitors to explore the many ways we connect with water, memory and the world around us.

👏 Congratulations to all of the Project Return artists whose work was featured. We’re so proud to see your creativity reaching new audiences!

Dine out. Give back. Make a difference.

For several years, Project Return has been fortunate to receive support from this generous community event hosted by the 1905 Family Of Restaurants. We’re so grateful to be part of a program that makes giving back so easy.

Throughout September, when you dine at any participating 1905 Family Of Restaurants location, you can select a local nonprofit to support, and 5% of your check will be donated on your behalf. There’s no additional cost to you!

Please join us in thanking the 1905 Family Of Restaurants for continuing to invest in local nonprofits and our community.

And if you’re dining at one of their participating restaurants this month, please consider selecting Project Return! Your meal can help support the programs and opportunities that make a difference in the lives of our members.

Thank you for dining with purpose and supporting Project Return!

September is Su***de Prevention Month
At Project Return, we believe that knowing how to recognize when someone may be struggling, and knowing how to respond, can make a real difference.

Recently, we had the opportunity to partner with the Love IV Lawrence Foundation for Mental Health First Aid training. We’re deeply grateful to our instructor, Stoney, and to the entire foundation for sharing this vital information and helping our team feel better prepared to support the people we serve and our community.

And please remember: help is always here.
Call or text 988 anytime, 24/7. The Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is free and confidential.
Sometimes, asking for help is the first step. Sometimes, simply knowing where to turn can make all the difference.

Our Project Return, Inc. artists recently had the honor of sharing their talents with the Live Life Even with Cancer Gala by donating original artwork to help support this inspiring event.

Celebrating life and recognizing the healing power of music and the arts is something that closely aligns with Project Return’s mission. Our artists were proud to contribute their creativity to an evening dedicated to hope, healing, and community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that shares our belief that art has the power to uplift, connect, and inspire. Thank you to Live Life Even with Cancer for including Project Return in this meaningful celebration.

We're honored to be recognized!

Project Return was recently nominated for the Karen Jacobs – Accessibility For All: Outstanding Accessible Places Award at the ADA Celebration held at the Straz Center.

It was a true honor to be considered alongside so many incredible organizations committed to making our community more accessible and inclusive. While we didn't take home the award, we are proud that our center was recognized for creating a welcoming space where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Representing Project Return at the event were Board Member Deb and Director of Operations Madison, who enjoyed an inspiring evening filled with outstanding speakers and performances celebrating accessibility and inclusion from across the Tampa Bay area.

Congratulations to all of this year's nominees and award recipients, and thank you to the organizers of the ADA Celebration for recognizing the importance of accessible spaces throughout our community. We remain committed to creating an environment where every person feels welcomed, valued, and empowered.

Hurricane Season Is Here

It’s completely normal to feel anxious as hurricane season begins, especially when severe weather is in the forecast. One of the best ways to manage that anxiety is through preparation and reliable information.

Take some time now to review your hurricane plan, gather emergency supplies, and make sure you know where to find trusted updates if a storm approaches.

For local, up to the minute weather information, we recommend following Tampa Bay meteorologist Denis Phillips, whose clear, calm reporting helps our community stay informed and prepared.

Remember: being prepared doesn’t mean expecting the worst. It means giving yourself the knowledge and tools to stay safe.

Stay aware. Stay prepared. Stay connected.
