Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Habitat Tampa Bay Hillsborough's groundbreaking -- and new chapter in Ybor City!

Last week we broke ground on Ybor Villas, an eight-townhome community that will give local, hardworking Tampa Bay families a path to affordable homeownership in the heart of one of Tampa’s most historic neighborhoods.

Ybor Villas is made possible through an incredible coalition of community, nonprofit, business, and financial partners — including the City of Tampa, Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, TD Bank, 1905 Family of Restaurants, Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, Carlton Fields, James Hardie, Verizon and many others — all coming together to create more affordable homeownership opportunities in Tampa.

We named this new Habitat floor plan "The Adela" in honor of longtime Ybor City restaurateur and Habitat supporter, Richard Gonzmart, as a tribute to his mother -- celebrating her love of family, the community and giving back.

We’re not just building homes. We’re building futures, strengthening families, and investing in the heart of Ybor City.
