We recognized teachers who go the . 🤘

In collaboration with USF Athletics and Extra Yard for Teachers, we surprised three Tampa Bay educators selected from more than 200 nominations with funding to support their classrooms as part of ! 🍎

Andrew Southwick, Tara McClintick and Che Counce-Maida were recognized for the impact they’re making on their students and school communities.

The celebration continues Saturday as we recognize local Teachers of the Year during the USF vs. Delaware State football game.

Today’s USF Football game against Army means a little more for one USF family. 🏈

AnnMarie Gunn, chair of our LLEEP Department and proud USF alumna, has family ties to both sides. Her son Lance is a sophomore in the Judy Genshaft Honors College, while her son Matthew is a cadet at West Point.

She may have family on both sides, but she says she’ll be wearing a little more green and gold today. Peep her hat! 👀🤘
