👋 Read this heartfelt note from our client, Alexis:

"Ms. Vernetta and Ms. Elaine were wonderful — the best! They checked on my son and were the kindest women ever. I say that from the heart. I really do appreciate everything they did for me. I just cannot thank them enough for helping me with everything.

"The Positive Spin program helped me get a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment. You helped with my paperwork, deposit, and prorated rent. I was also referred to the Up and Out Program for rental assistance. When I moved into my apartment, I did not have any more money to buy food or anything else. Positive Spin gave me a Publix gift card to help.

"Once again, I would like to thank Positive Spin for everything you have done for me and my son."

It's a fact: Every person has needs that go beyond the physical. We each have emotional needs and social ones, too, and when ALL of our needs are met, we thrive.

Through our case management system, we help families with their physical needs — a roof over their heads and healthy food to fuel their bodies — and we also support families as they seek holistic well-being.

👋 Meet Patricia Grimminger!

She holds an MBA and serves as our Chief Financial Officer. Patti joined our team in 2020 with nearly 40 years of accounting experience. That included 25 years working in the non-profit space and 12 years as a CFO. That's an incredible resume!

Over the course of her career, Patti worked for well-known international accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and tech giant IBM. She was also a part of the Resolution Trust Corporation, an organization formed by Congress to help solve the historic Savings and Loan Crisis of the ‘80s-‘90s.

Patti has had some truly amazing experiences and a lot of knowledge and wisdom to share. We are so grateful that she plays such an important role in our organization today!
