Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the thousands of lives lost in the horrific attacks that forever changed our nation. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger to save others, including those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We also hold close the families and loved ones who continue to carry the weight of that loss. May we never forget their lives, their courage, and the strength our country showed in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Had a wonderful day at the West Central Florida AFL-CIO Labor Day Picnic! It was great connecting with union members and working families while seeing friends gather, children play, and our community celebrate together. Labor Day reminds us that Tampa is stronger when we honor working people, support organized labor, and fight for fair wages, safe workplaces, and dignity on the job. It was great working alongside Senator Brian Nathan as we continue doing the work to get out the vote this November! From phone banking and texting voters to writing postcards, every conversation and every connection helps strengthen our democracy and move our community forward. A special thank you to the Hillsborough County Democratic Jewish Caucus for their continued dedication to voter outreach and engagement, and for giving me the opportunity to speak with everyone about our District 3 campaign, the direction we’re headed, and our commitment to working for people in every part of Tampa. Now that both Tampa City Council and the Hillsborough County Commission have voted in favor, I want to hear from you.

Do you believe this was the right decision for Tampa taxpayers? What do you believe our community is getting in return, and how will this investment impact your family, your neighborhood, affordable housing, infrastructure, transportation, and flooding?

As I run for Tampa City Council District 3 next March, I believe these are the conversations we need to be having. Tell me your thoughts.

After years of failed stadium plans, Hillsborough committed the money needed to move the Rays’ Tampa proposal forward.

Great time with the South Tampa Dems the other night, felt so much energy and enthusiasm in the room! After a successful primary, it was inspiring to see candidates, community leaders, and neighbors come together focused on what’s next. Now it’s time to carry that momentum into November, get out the vote, and keep it going into Tampa’s municipal elections next March. Thank you to Nathan Kuipers and the South Tampa Dems for organizing such a great meeting and bringing our community together.

I had a great time attending the annual Kennedy-King Gala this past weekend! It was great to connect with fellow candidates, community leaders, and so many people who care deeply about Tampa and where our city is headed.

Running for Tampa City Council is about bringing people together, listening to our communities, and making sure Tampa continues moving forward in a way that works for everyone. I’m grateful to be part of that work and excited for what’s ahead.
