But for us, this honor represents something even bigger.

For more than 130 years, Children’s Home Network has been here for Tampa Bay’s children and families. Since 1892, we’ve evolved with the needs of our community—while staying rooted in the same purpose: unlocking the potential of at-risk children and families and creating opportunities for success.

From caring for orphaned and abandoned children more than a century ago to providing comprehensive programs that support children, caregivers, and families today, our mission has never stopped moving forward.

Today we’re behind the scenes at Children’s Home Network where we are honored to support the filming of a documentary honoring General H. Norman Schwarzkopf — the four-star general who led coalition forces in the Persian Gulf War, and one of Children’s Home Network’s most devoted supporters.

After retiring to Tampa Bay in 1991, General Schwarzkopf dedicated himself to protecting our community’s most vulnerable children — those who were abused, neglected, and at-risk. His legacy still shapes the work we do every day.
