REGISTRATION OPEN!
South Tama Activity Boosters, Inc. will hold the 19th Annual Kolpin Open, on Saturday, August 15th at the Tama-Toledo Country Club. The Kolpin Open is a 9 Hole Four Person Best Shot Fundraiser for student activities at South Tama including academic, athletic, and fine arts. Nearly $200,000 has been raised in the previous eighteen editions of the event.

The Kolpin Open serves as the largest annual fundraiser for South Tama Activity Boosters, Inc. In addition to remembering long time STC Activities Director Ken Kolpin, South Tama Activity Boosters, Inc remembers former South Tama Educators, Coaches, and Sponsors at the event. In 2025 Les Koch, Linda Purvis, Kathy Tomlinson, Bruce Hanna, Gary Zmolek, Kenneth Sutten, Jan Mills, Ellie Dolezal, and Charley Townsley were added to signage as part of a Memory Walk. Joining the remembrance in 2026 are Gary Clemens (Basketball, Softball, Cross Country, & Track and Field), Dr. Clarence Lippert (Superintendent), and David John (Band Director).

Whether you're a baseball fanatic, an Iowa Wild Hockey Fan, love to cheer on the UNI Panthers, or are looking to treat your kids/grandkids to a trip to Adventureland or the Kansas City Zoo, we've got something for you!
