WBWA was established in 1968 to provide quality drinking water. Since that date, WBWA has grown, updated and improved it's water system to cover over 1300 customers in five different parishes. For three years the Board of Directors have been planning and working with engineers, State and Federal Agencies, and Political Representatives on plans for major improvements and upgrades to our water produ

ction and distribution system. Hopefully, Phase 1 of these improvements will begin this year. This page is for informational purposes only. Water updates will be posted as soon as possible, should issues arise. Thank you for your understanding and support.

WBWA will be shutting the water off tomorrow around 8:30am so the contractors can install fire hydrants for Afton Fire Dept. Montrose Rd & Hwy 603. Depending on the amount of time they take, the Sharkey plant could run out of water.
