The last few months at Tallmadge Rotary have been full of learning, fellowship, and great conversations!
In April, Tallmadge Law Director Megan Raber joined us to discuss current scams and fraud trends impacting our communities and shared tips on what residents should be watching out for.
We also welcomed Andrea Whitaker from the Summit County Legal Defender’s Office, who spoke about the important services their office provides throughout courthouses across Summit County.
This month, Rep. Derrick Hall spoke with our club about school funding and provided insight into how funding decisions are made from the Statehouse side of things.
We also enjoyed hearing from Carl Bako and Megan Bright from The Village of St. Edward, who shared information about their new facility opening in Brimfield and the services they will be providing to the community.
And it’s not all business — we also had a fun game night together in April at West Ave Tavern for our 5th Thursday of the month event!
From informative guest speakers and community updates to friendship and fellowship, there’s always something happening at Rotary. If you’ve ever wondered what Rotary is all about, come join us on Thursdays at 7:15 a.m. and see what you’ve been missing!
