These numbers reflect the dedication and training of our firefighters and the trust of our community. Proud to serve Tallmadge, every call, every day.

Last year was a busy year for the Tallmadge Fire Department!

In 2025, TFD responded to 4,023 calls for service, a 3.52% increase from 2024 and more than a 50% increase since 2015. Our Fire Prevention Bureau completed 826 inspections, and our Fire Educators participated in 124 community activities, helping keep Tallmadge safe through prevention and education.

At 11:42 Tallmadge Fire, with aid from Munroe Falls and Mogadore, were dispatched to 389 Commerce Street for a commercial structure fire. Less than 6 minutes later TFD units were on scene and able to contain the fire to the area it started, limiting damage to the business. Total units on scene were:
Mayor - 1 (Used skills from his FF days and connected the hydrant!)
Chiefs - 3
Deputy/Assistant Chiefs - 3
Battalion Chiefs - 1
Tower - 1
Engines - 3
Medic - 2
Personnel - 21
