North Florida Coalition for Immigration Reform NFCIR is a group of diverse people taking direct action to push Comprehensive and Humane Immigration Reform that includes a pathway to citizenship.

Moving forward with Comprehensive and Progressive Immigration Reform in 2013, advocating for Senate Bill 744 and building a united multitude of diverse groups and individuals to press Congress to pass Immigration Reform and grant citizenship to America’s 11 million undocumented immigrants. NFCIR believes the global economy is changing and that the citizens of North Florida and the United Sta

tes must make significant changes to stay ahead. We will work to encourage Congress to focus on policies that maximize the potential of our country’s workforce to contribute to the economic well being of all citizens of the United States and to those who are currently residing within the United States borders without basic human rights protection. NFCIR believes in human compassion for one another and works to protect the basic rights of all individuals and families within the borders of the United States. Description

-NFCIR is non-partisan organization started by a diverse group of leaders from various backgrounds pulling together to use new media network technology and face-to-face action to form an advocacy group concerned with Congressional policies that work to protect the unity of the family, including the family of bi-national couples, and advocate a legal pathway for the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants to earn permanent residency and eventual citizenship. - NFCIR advocates comprehensive immigration reform and works through political advocacy and grassroots network organizing in order to achieve the passing of Senate Bill 744.

- NFCIR advocates an end to the exploitation of undocumented workers in the United States by providing safe and legal avenues for foreign workers to contribute to their own economic betterment and invest in the expansion of the US economy.

- NFCIR advocates a commitment to fairness and equality inside and along the borders creating a workable employment verification system that links with border protection to target serious criminals and eliminate the criminalization of foreign workers who are currently caught within the criminal system because they lack proper documentation.

-NFCIR advocates building on the success of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and incorporates DREAMers – children who were brought to the US at a young age and who are USAmericans in all aspects but documentation papers.
