Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, supported, and encouraged to dream big. Today, we celebrate the joy, curiosity, imagination, and promise that children bring into our lives every day.

Strong support systems play an important role in men’s physical and mental health. Connection with family, friends, and community can encourage men to seek care, stay engaged, and prioritize their well-being.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, take the time to check in with loved ones, start a conversation, and support the men in your life.

When fathers are engaged and supported, children are more likely to thrive, families are stronger, and communities are more stable. Involved fathers help build confidence, resilience, and healthier futures for children and families across Florida.

Through Florida’s Father First initiative, fathers can access resources, mentorship, and support to stay engaged and connected in their children’s lives because being present makes a lasting difference.

The answer to local needs is often found in local communities.

Secretary Hatch joined faith, community, and business leaders at the Helping Our Pastors Engage event in Orlando, where churches learned how to join or grow their use of CarePortal and partner with Florida Chamber businesses to serve more families in their communities.

Through CarePortal and the generosity of local businesses, faith partners can help meet immediate needs, offer meaningful connection, and walk alongside families toward self-sufficiency and prosperity.

This National Foster Care Month, consider the ways you can make a lasting impact in the life of a child.

Whether you are interested in becoming a foster parent, supporting local foster families, or helping raise awareness in your community, every effort helps provide children with safety, stability, and care when they need it most.

Together, we can strengthen Florida’s foster care community and support the families who answer the call to care.
