SHIELD marked a significant milestone today by hosting the agency's inaugural Retirement Readiness Workshop. This event kicks off a four-part series scheduled over the next month; each session focused on essential aspects of preparing for life after an LCSO career. Participants will explore topics such as navigating the final years as an LCSO employee, financial planning for retirement, redefining purpose, and identity beyond the badge, and maintaining both mental and physical well-being in retirement.

Today's workshop featured insightful presentations from Major Brent Coughlin and Major Carl Bennett, whose expertise and dedication provided valuable guidance to members. We extend our sincere appreciation to both guest speakers for their commitment to supporting the future success and well-being of our agency's members.
