The wait is over—we’re officially unveiling the VIP Oktoberfest menu!

This year, VIP guests are in for the full Oktoberfest experience with an authentic German meal featuring bratwurst, pork schnitzel, German potato salad, Rotkohl and more!

VIP guests will enjoy their meal inside our private, air-conditioned space at Parkview at Cascades, complete with incredible dining views overlooking Cascades Park. Plus, VIP tickets include unlimited beer tastings in a commemorative stein from our participating local breweries.

This Healthy Aging Month, we’re highlighting the many ways we support the health and well-being of local seniors - including through our community garden. The fresh produce grown and harvested here helps provide our customers with nutritious, locally grown food.

And we need helping hands to keep it growing! We are actively looking for garden volunteers of all ages.

We are proud to be a community partner for the Leon County Sheriff's Office 32304 Prosperity Community Day!

Join us Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Griffin Middle School for a free community event connecting residents with helpful resources, services and opportunities. More than 25 local agencies and organizations will be on site to help with everything from saving money and accessing community services to assistance with IDs, driver licenses and more.

Stop by, connect with your community and be sure to visit the Elder Care Services team while you’re there. Free lunch will also be provided to the first 150 participants.

A special thank you to our friends at for spending part of their holiday serving our community!

Today, Temple Israel volunteers covered our Meals on Wheels routes, helping ensure local seniors received a hot meal and a friendly visit right at their door.

We are so grateful for community partners who show up for our seniors and make sure our neighbors continue to feel cared for and connected.

Elder Care Services - including Elder Day Stay - will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Meals on Wheels will continue delivering meals as usual - thank you to our volunteers at Temple Israel of Tallahassee for making sure local seniors receive their meals and a friendly visit.

Elder Care Services will resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 8.

We wish our clients, volunteers, community partners, and friends a safe and happy Labor Day!

Join us for an afternoon filled with authentic German flavors, live oompah music from Gesundheit, yard games, unlimited craft beer samples, a silent auction, and plenty of fall fun for the whole family.

September is Healthy Aging Month!

But what does it really mean to age well?

It can mean having nutritious food on the table. A ride to the doctor. A reason to get out of the house. People to connect with. Support that makes it possible to remain safely at home. Or an opportunity to use a lifetime of experience to give back to others.

At Elder Care Services, we see healthy aging differently for every person we serve.

Throughout September, we'll be sharing the people, programs, and services that help seniors across our community stay nourished, connected, engaged, and independent.

A little of your time can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day!

Every Monday through Friday, Meals on Wheels volunteers head out into our community to deliver nutritious lunches to local homebound seniors. Along with each meal comes something just as valuable: a friendly hello and a connection to the community.

With 28 daily routes serving more than 250 seniors, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Most routes take about 90 minutes, between 10:30 AM and noon.
