Board Spotlight | Audrine Finnerty ✨
A sense of calm. A sense of joy. A sense of home.
These feelings wash over Audrine Finnerty the moment she arrives at her home park of Wakulla Springs.
Years of volunteer service to Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park and the Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park inspired Audrine to expand and evolve her support for our state parks. That led her to the Florida State Parks Foundation’s Board of Directors and her current role as Chair of the Foundation’s Volunteer Awards Committee.
Each year, Audrine is wowed by the thousands of volunteers who contribute millions of hours to our state’s natural wonders.
Originally from Ohio, Audrine fell in love with the Sunshine State upon moving here nearly 20 years ago — and she hasn’t looked back!
Now based in Central Florida, you can often find Audrine at two new favorites: Wekiwa Springs State Park and De Leon Springs State Park.
During her tenure on the Board, she’s discovered that those same senses of calm, joy and home are found in our state parks from the Panhandle to the Keys and everywhere in-between.
Thank you, Audrine, for your service to the Foundation and your dedication to our amazing Florida State Parks volunteers!
