What a great first week of Area Interest Meetings in Florida!

Nearly 100 fire sprinkler industry professionals joined us for valuable training, industry updates, and networking. Attendees heard from Milwaukee Tool and Viking Group on the latest innovations impacting our industry and received a recap of key legislative developments from the 2026 Florida Legislative Session.

A special thank you to Bryan Berkley, Steven Thompson, John Vallone, Ryan Land, and FFSA Board Members Ryan Peterson, Robert B. Cariveau, and Zarko Ognjenovic for sharing their expertise and helping make these meetings a success.

The first documented sprinkler save - Check out this bit of history shared by National Fire Sprinkler Association - NFSA from FSM Magazine. "February 1877-"A fire broke out in a Massachusetts mill. It was, by most accounts, an unremarkable fire and the kind of incident that, at any other time, would have gutted a building, destroyed livelihoods and perhaps cost lives. On this occasion, though, something different happened. The fire was stopped in its tracks before it had the chance to become catastrophic. Big congrats to the 1st place team at the Integration Association of Florida ‘s 2nd Annual S***t Fundraiser! Love seeing our FFSA Board President, Ryan Peterson and his Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, Inc. team out there representing and bringing home the win. From what I’m hearing, it was a blast all around!
