We can’t wait to welcome Kevin Lockette from the Harmonica Parkinson’s Project for a special Harmonica for Parkinson’s class on May 29th at 12 PM!

Did you know that up to 90% of people with Parkinson’s may experience speech changes as the disease progresses? Breath control, volume, pitch, and articulation — all key components of speech — are also practiced while learning the harmonica. Recent research from the Harmonica Parkinson’s Project showed positive trends in speech and saliva management, along with the added benefits of social connection and learning a new skill. We’re also excited that their 2025 study findings will be presented at the upcoming World Parkinson Congress!

If you’ve survived a toxic, abusive relationship, you already know a difficult truth: the hardest part of healing often happens after you leave the therapist’s office.

For too long, the mental health world has treated recovery as a finish line. But at the STAR Network, we know that true recovery doesn’t end when treatment does – it’s a lifelong journey of reclaiming your life, your worth and your future.

Save your virtual seat: https://starnetwork.org/scars-to-stars-2026/attend/

That is why we created the 3rd Annual Scars to STARs Summit.

On Friday, May 22, 2026, join us for a global, virtual event dedicated entirely to our STARs — Survivors of Toxic Abusive Relationships.
