Join Leon County EMS for a Stop the Bleed training during Leon County’s Citizen Engagement Series: Disaster Resilience Edition. This essential training teaches you how to provide immediate, lifesaving aid to an injured person until first responders arrive.

In addition to Stop the Bleed, you will also learn how to prepare for disasters with local public safety experts. The interactive Citizen Engagement Series will feature hands-on activities and demonstrations for the whole family.

“I have always had the desire to make a difference in people’s lives,” Kayla shared. “Being a paramedic allows me to do that while also having a job that excites me and changes every single day!" Happy National EMS Week! We are proud to recognize Paramedic Daniela Rosero, recipient of the Randy Williams Memorial Excellence in EMS Award. 🚑❤️

From becoming a Field Training Officer to completing critical care school, Daniela continues to push herself to grow while serving our residents with dedication and heart. “I learned English in 5th grade, and I enjoy it when I get to connect with the Spanish-speaking community," Daniela shared.
